Processing personal data

dnf processes personal data for the purpose of efficient customer management (administration, following up cases).

Rights of the data subject

The client is at all times entitled to inspect all its personal data and to request that they are corrected if they are incorrect or incomplete. It is also possible to delete this information, to restrict its processing or to object to this in accordance with Article 6.1(e) and (f). In addition, the client may request a copy of its personal data in a clearly structured and machine-readable form and have the information transferred to another company. The client can do so by sending an email to the following email address: info@dnfbelgium.be. The client is entitled to oppose the processing of its data for direct marketing purposes. If the client wishes to submit a complaint, this can be done at the Commission for the Protection of Privacy (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, Belgium - commission@privacycommission.be).

Legal basis for processing

Personal data are processed on the basis of Article 6.1(b) necessary for the implementation of the agreement and (c) necessary in order to comply with a legal obligation of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Transfer to third parties

Personal data will not be passed on to third companies. However, it is possible that a back-up will be made of these data. If this backup is made, a server will be used that is located within the European Economic Area. The companies ensure that the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect personal data have been taken. In the event of an unpaid invoice, client data, including billing information, may be passed on to a third party responsible for its collection.

Retention period

Personal data used for customer management will be kept only for the time necessary to meet the legal requirements (accounting, etc.).
